Many dancers stop performing by their late thirties, because of the physical demands on the body, but some remain in the field as dance choreographers, dance teachers, or artistic dance directors.
Ask yourself this; Are you creative, artistic, and disciplined?
Do you like to teach, and do you work well with others?
Then, if you have what it takes you will be able to stay in the field as a dance choreographer.
As a dance choreographer or a dancer you will face intense competition; only the most talented find regular work.
Also to be successful as a dance choreographer it's a must to have: self-discipline, serenity, determination, and a devotion to dance are essential for success in the field. |
