Choreographer and founder of T.A.B Dance Co INC, Tom John, best known for his innovative choreographies and imaginative unique style, will be choreographing and starring on the highly anticipated, hit musical comedy "Hairspray"!

Tom John ascended to fame as the most recognizable choreographer, and dance teacher in Israel, choreographing KNOB's worldwide tour.
Not long after choreographing in Israel, Tom John choreographed: for Alisa Apps, Quami Dela Fox (Beastie Boys), Delta Goodrem, Timbaland, Cassidy, to name a few, and now the renowned Hairspray!

"I'm having a great time choreographing for Hairspray.
It's different and has an edge to it. I had master different dance styles and dance moves, and step out of my box, and I had to take these moves and styles to give it my own unique 'touch' , incorporating and creating my own identifiable style  using the styles I had to master—this was an incredible and extraordinary challenge!" explains Tom John.
Tickets are now on sale for Adam Shankman’s film, lovingly tailored from the Broadway musical of John Waters’ 1988 classic, is now on tour bringing the 60's back in a wonderful, out of this world, and fresh way—"Hairspray! Set to hit the stage on November of 2008 across the United States.
Tom John will be Choreographing the legendary hairspray.
Adapted from the Broadway stage hit, "Hairspray" is the story of Baltimore's Tracy Turnblad, a Differently Weighted girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, lives only for her passion: dance. She prevails  a spot on a local TV dance program, "The Corny Collins Show," and instantaneously is transformed from an outcast into an miraculous celebrity.

"It's going to be a hit! This show presents an outstanding compilation of talent and capacity." Says Tom John.
The DVD is scheduled to be released on November 24th of 2008.
